Vintage Fuchsia Veil Hat, 1960s Open Crown Fascinator or Whimsy Hat with Veil
Hot pink or fuchsia hat has an open crown and is almost a halo style hat, with a fluffy pink tulle veil attached. I imagine that this was part of a bridesmaid's outfit, but its such a fun and dramatic piece to add to your mid century formalwear outfit. Great for a wedding or for prom, and in very lovely condition. The tulle is in gorgeous condition. The crown part of the hat had some crushing, and I was able to steam most of it out, but it has retained some of the wrinkle.
This would need to be held on with hair pins. There are small loops at the inner temples, and possibly an elastic was attached at some point, to loop under the chin.
Measures 15. 5" around the inner brim. Veil is 20" long.
