Vintage Necktie, Wide Tie with Flower and Stripe Design, 1970s
Fun and kitschy 1970s tie in a super wide silhouette. This is a thick polyester fabric. Green with a circular type of tone-on-tone pattern. Leafy designs in peach and coppery orange adorn the tie along with wide swaths of different texture stripes. The tie has a shimmer to it, and the colors are perfect for fall and winter months. Besides having tons of personality, these ties are also very practical and easy to care for. There is not much that a 1970s polyester tie cannot stand up to, so it's a great choice for restaurant jobs where the tie may get a bit abused. This one is kitschy in the very best way - just a real stand out tie, totally unique piece.
This is a wide width tie, measuring 4" at its widest point; and It is 55" long, which is a little shorter than today's standard - but 70's ties were worn a bit shorter as well.
