Vintage Empire Waist Bridesmaid Dress, 1970s Yellow Eyelet Maxi Dress with Trumpet Sleeves and Bow Accents, Size Small
Gorgeous vintage maxi dress was most likely a bridesmaid dress, but could also be used as a prom dress, or for any formal occasion. Full length A-line dress has an empire waist with a wide yellow sash around it, tied into a bow with full length tails at the back. The dress is fitted at the bodice and waist, with a gentle and gradual flare as it goes to the floor. The sleeves are elastic at the bicep and bells out from there. There is a small bow at each sleeve. The back has a zipper closure at the bottom, and covered buttons at the top.
This fully lined dress is in gorgeous condition, but there is some fade on one shoulder and sleeve, shown in photos.
The lining and the bow are swishy satin, feel like they are made of acetate or maybe polyester. The eyelet feels like polyester or maybe a cotton poly blend. This is really beautifully made!
