Vintage Necktie from the 1940s with Novelty Gear or Target Print, Gabardine Tie in Blue, Red, and White. 1940s Tie by Sherman, and sold at Weber's in Palisades Park NJ.

This is a great example of a 1940s necktie. The print is fantastic, and the tags are so much fun too!
This tie does not have a tag to indicate fiber content, but it feels like a fine wool.
This is in pretty great condition, but some of the white is a bit discolored. It's not very noticeable until you have two of the white areas next to each other, as shown in photos. Even then its pretty subtle.
This tie measures 3. 25" across at the widest point, and is 47" long. Standard ties today are about 57" long. The shorter ties were primarily due to pant waists being worn higher up.
