Celebrate the beauty and richness of Japanese tradition, in this lovely silk Haori or short Kimono style top...

Made of a moderately heavy weight woven silk brocade fabric, the pattern is a large scale floral print in cream color, on a salmon pink ground. This pattern features some lovely pointillistic texture, in the form of raised areas, on the surface of the fabric (a lovely brocade detail). This is your traditional Japanese silhouette, with a wide and open cut, shawl style neckline that graduates into solid folds down the center front, and of course, large and square style kimono sleeves. The jacket is half-lined, with a cream colored silk fabric (see pics) and there are no other details to note -including no maker's marks or labels. No ties or closures. The overall condition is excellent to near mint with only one very light and unnoticeable stain at back left sleeve. Please review photographs for full details. This piece appears to have only been worn a handful of times -in fact some of the basting stitches (to be removed upon wearing) are still intact.
