Obi piece or something to be worn with an kimono style jacket or actual kimono. It did come to me from a collection of vintage costumes, so could just be something that was invented for a film. Either way, its quite old and could have many many uses today for a costume look. My best guess as to age of this is about 1940s, 1950s-ish based on construction and material and other pieces in the collection. Has no labels, looks and feels like rayon. This comes from an enormous collection of Old Hollywood Movie Costumes I was lucky enough to stumble across.

Excellent to great condition. It does have some wear to the edges along what seems to be the top. Coule perhaps be tucked under and hidden with some careful stitching and other minor signs of age.

Measurements taken lying flat.
