The beautiful vintage Chinese robe is in good condition. There are some spots on the white silk, and the lining has torn on one side, but otherwise, it’s in pretty good shape. All of the embroidery is done with the forbidden stitch which creates circular stitches, and is considered to be only done by experienced embroiderers. It is completely hand done. I believe it’s from the 1920’s based on research.
