Fantastic piece of textile history! Hand pieced and embroidered with a date of 1915 on multiple pieces. There are fun little floral embroidered designs, initials, and different types of border stitches. Fabrics are mostly everyday, solid colors with a scattering of prints.

Condition:
For the age, I would say this quilt is in pretty good condition. The striped backing has a large faded spot but the fabric is still strong. You can see that there must have been creative repairs with yarn embroidery that was done through the back layer as well. The front blocks are in decent condition, there is one peach fabric in particular that has shattered on most of the squares that have it, I'm pretty sure it is a silk. I have not attempted cleaning this.
