1950s Black Velvet Skirt with Pink Flocked Rose Print, Mid Century Pin Up Girl Style Skirt
This is a super pretty skirt with a unique floral print. The flowers are a pointillism style design and are applied in a manner similar to flocking, but they don't have the "velvet" feel that flocking usually has.
The skirt itself IS velvet, a short pile and a substantial fabric. There is no content tag so I am not sure what the fiber is, but it's a really well made skirt. The skirt closes with a metal side zipper and two hook and eye closures at the waistband.
This is a full skirt and measures like a modern size small . It comes just below the knee.

For cleaning, I recommend a very gentle hand washing in cold water, or dry cleaning. Delicate cycle washing machine settings may be fine depending on the washer - I just worry that the flocked design would deteriorate with friction in some machines.
