Vintage Van Raalte Nylon Slip with Lace Bodice and Hem, 1960s Lingerie Hand Dyed Blue & Brown Tie Dye, Size Small.
This is a gorgeous vintage slip that was originally a baby blue, but it had a yellowed stain on the front. I gave it this tye dye effect using some chocolate brown color. This silky nylon slip is THE PERFECT grunge style slip dress, and of course it is ideal to wear as a nightgown, or as a slip. I love layering vintage slips to wear as dresses in the summer. Colored vintage slips are also the perfect way to style crochet or sheer dresses with - just change the color you wear underneath to alter the look!
It looks as though there were also two repairs to this slip once, on the sides under each arm. The stitching there is different, and there is a slash in the chiffon overlay of the bust. Similar but less severe issue on the right side.
Both sides shown in photos. This slip is marked size S, and the model is 5'11" tall and size small. Slip measures like a size small. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
