Vintage Rayon Peasant Blouse, Sheer Black Georgette with Floral Embroidery
Gorgeous rayon georgette blouse, black with multi-colored flower embroidery and smocking.
I absolutely love blouses like this. The embroidery, the color, the intricacy of the designs. So pretty!! This one is 100% rayon, with a tag that says simply "Original Swiss Georgette". This is a perfect blouse for the artistic in you. Wonderful with some boyfriend jeans, great with a wrap skirt, or even tucked into a pencil skirt for work. Trimmed with multi-color smocking at the sleeves and waist. There are snap closures at the waist, and amazing floral embroidery at the neckline and on the sleeves.

I am not sure if this is from the 1970s or from the 1940s, but it is amazing regardless of the era.
The photos show the snaps undone, but I have repaired them (there are 3 snaps, all three are securely attached now). There is a pair of TINY holes at the left shoulder, which I have a close up of for you. The bottom of the V at the neckline is also a bit damaged. Shown in photos.

This is marked as a size 40, and this is shown on a size small model. I would recommend this for a modern size 6 or smaller. For best fit, compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.

Length: 19" when laid flat.
When I tried this on, the waist of this top sat at my natural waist, and bloused a bit, but it covered probably about 17"-18" from my shoulder.
