Vintage Vanity Fair Sheer Black Overlay Pink Night Gown Mid Length Nighty. Tagged size 36, listed as size Small. Please be sure to check the measurements for best fit.

Pinky nylon fabric body with a sheer black overlay. Lace inset at waist and neckline. I suspect the ribbon trim around the waist has been added post original manufacturing to cover a small tear in the lace (see pics). It has been done nicely, the ribbon lays well. It was sewn only on the top to lay flat when worn.

The sheer overlay has a beautiful gathered look at the bust and soft pleating at the skirt.

While this was originally intended to be a night gown/ nighty, I think it would be beautiful worn as a dress. It has a soft, romantic, vintage look.

Nice Vintage condition with the lace and ribbon as described above. Slight perfumey, vintage smell. I have steam cleaned it and will steam clean again before packing to ship.
