The tapestry made in Belgium is a very nice example and could be made with either cotton or silk given the vibrancy of the colors. This tapestry likely dates circa MCM 1950's-60's, when French design in general was so popular! The French Louis XV style "court scene" looks like a music room gathering or nobility or wealthy commoners! So lovely and charming! I did not see any flaws-the colors look great!
