Vintage Graphic Bandana by Arvale Rogers, 1980s Bandana featuring on Horeseback with Buffalo Herd
This is a stunning vintage bandana. A polyester cotton blend with a design created by artist Arvale Rogers. The scarf features wide plains with low mountains in the background. At center is a on horseback, and both are adorned with feathers and turquoise. Above the pair is a second scene - a herd of buffalo almost like smoke billowing out from a hunter racing up behind them. Its a gorgeous illustration and the hanky is in excellent condition.
The lower left corner features the artist signature, as well as a small "Buffalo Roams" stamp, maybe a series of illustrations done by the artist? The lower right side features the fiber content (50% cotton, 50% polyester), Made in USA, and the RN of 15582 (Springs Industries).
Bandana measures 22" square. Fantastic for a southwestern aesthetic.
