Vintage Beaded & Sequined Pillbox Hat, 1960s Formal Hat in Pink with Beads and Sequins
This is a truly stunning beauty that would be a perfect accessory for a vintage-styled bride on her wedding day. This is also perfect for any formal occasion, and is like jewelry for your hair.
This hat is full of pink sequins outlined in a darker glass bugle beads to form a leafy pattern around the crown of the head. This is built on a stiff mesh base, and there is ribbon secured around the edges. The sequins and beads are all in gorgeous condition with minor wear to the pieces on the edges. There is a pale pink netting over the hat and this would need to be removed or replaced as it has several holes.
This hat measures 6. 5" across, 2" high, and 18" around the inside rim. There are 2 hair combs to help secure it. I feel that these combs would best work in either thick and/or textured hair, or hair that was in an undo. I personally have fine hair, and while my hair was down, there was no stability without using something else to secure the hat, though this was also likely meant to be worn with a much more structured hair style.
