Vintage Pajama Set, 1950s Floral Flannel Pajamas with Top and Pants, Size Small. This sweet little set was new old stock when I found it, but it had yellowing from being poorly stored so I had to soak it for a bit. Fortunately, the stains came out! Such a pretty and fun set to wear to bed or lounging around the house. I especially love having some vintage pajamas for family vacations or sleepovers (when you are around people who you do not normally live with and you need to be semi-appropriate during morning coffee).
These are super soft and a nice lightweight flannel type of material. Cozy and pretty.
The top is a boxy fit with three plastic buttons up the front. There is some crochet trim on the collar, pink piping at the cuffs and button placket, and a small pocket on the right chest. The pants have a high waist and loose fit through the hips. The waistband has snap closures (no elastic) which can be used to adjust the fit. The pants have a high rise, but also a dropped crotch, so the inseam length is deceiving. I have included the outseam, and model is 5'11" tall for reference.
These are marked size 18-38 and measure like a modern size Medium. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
