Vintage Silk Scarf with Hand-rolled Hem and Rhinestone Detail, 1960s Oversized Scarf
Really beautiful scarf from the mid century era in yellow silk with gorgeous pink and purple wildflowers on it. This poor beauty has some stains on one quadrant, but it also happens to have rhinestones on a different quadrant - and its huge! So its fairly easy to style in a way that hides the stains. Even with the stained areas, this is a stunner of a scarf. The rhinestones are all prong set, and are isolated to one quarter of the scarf. They do add some weight to that side, and the prongs may get caught in your hair if you were to wear this as a hair scarf and aren't careful. The prongs are excellent quality and are not actually prone to snagging, but it's always possible with prongs. So far they have not actually caught on anything during my handling of it, and the lack of snags on the scarf indicates that they are all pretty secure.
This is beautiful for pin up girl styles, looks, eclectic maximalist styles, springtime looks, etc.
