Vintage Velvet Blazer, 1940s Navy Blue Fitted Jacket with Button Detail
This vintage blazer is really lovely. A gorgeous and very dark navy blue, almost black but not quite. The collar on this is smaller and folded down, with two little buttoned tabs on either side. The pockets have matching tabs and covered buttons are on the placket and collar. It is fully lined and has three quarter length sleeves with small winged cuffs.

I love pieces like this for modern office wear. Definitely more personality than a run-of-the-mill suit would give you, but still professional. Velvet is a timeless classic and always in style.

This has no labels at all. It is lovely condition with no stains, holes, or rips. There are a couple of spots where stitching is a little loose, namely at the pockets and cuffs. There is also an area on the back where the velvet nap has some wear - shown in photos. It has darting at the front and sides to help create more of a shape.
