This is a unicorn of sorts it is an authentic, mid century Harwood Steiger textile featuring roadrunners (one of his most collectible themes in this period of this career) that has been made into a plus size, a-line maxi skirt.

It’s all been hand sewn with a black elastic waistband and one simple side seam. so it can be worn as is, or since the stitching is all by hand, you could remove the stitching rendering the textile back to its original form.

Either way, the textile itself is very collectible and having one that’s been made into a skirt is even more rare. These MCM textiles average 300-1500 for ones the size, age, condition and theme. so this is a fantastic deal.

In great shape. Very wearable also collectible. This will only gain value as time passes.
