This vintage purse has a caramel brown lucite frame around tapestry. The purse is a rectangle, 8” long from side to side and 4 ½” high from top to bottom. It is 2 ½” wide when closed and opens to about 5” when fully stretched open.

The clasp is a brass hinge. The handle is black cloth and has about a 5 ½” drop. The interior is also black cloth and is in great shape except at the bottom of one corner, where it has pulled away. See pic.

The tapestry is in great shape. All of the 6 brass feet are intact. There are no cracks on the lucite, but there are some scratches, particularly on the bottom, and some on the sides. See pics. One of the pics makes it seem like there’s a crack in the lucite, but I don’t feel anything like a crack, so it could just be how it was made. There are some minor bumps in the lucite, but those would have occurred during the production process. The purse sticks on one side when you close it, and you just gently have to nudge it into place.
