Vintage Heart Hankies Trio, Mid Century Era Handkerchiefs with Heart Print
Gorgeous mini collection of vintage handkerchiefs for anyone who loves love!
One silk hanky is white with a red border and a field of scattered red hearts. Hand rolled hem, has a tag and is made by Glentex. Measures 17" x 17".
Second hanky is cotton, and a giant red field with 4 heart shaped doilies and a center bow. There is scrollwork around the edges that cleverly reads "Be My Valentine" if you look carefully! This one is my favorite, its such a beautiful piece. Measures 13" x 13" and may be earlier (seems more 1940s).
The third hanky is also cotton. White with scalloped edges, and bouquets of hearts at each corner, surrounded by a border of tulips inside of hearts. This hanky has a bit of yellowing to it, and also some small scattered holes. Still a pretty piece for crafting or accessorizing. Measures 12. 5" x 12. 5".
