Vintage Green Linen Wiggle Dress, Sheath or Pencil Style Dress with Peter Pan Collar and Hemstitch Bow Detail, Size XS
This is a beautiful sheath style dress in a vibrant kelly green color and it has really pretty detail. The dress has a tiny little Peter Pan style collar, and decorative covered buttons down the front. There is a bow shaped applique style cutout that is attached with an open hemstitch to the front, and the hemstitch is repeated at the sleeve cuffs. Finally, this little beauty has pockets! Always a plus, and unexpected in such a slim fitting dress.
This has a metal zipper closure up the back and a 2. 5" hem so there is room to take the length down if you wish. There are a couple of subtle discolorations on this dress, which I have shown in photos. The dress has no tags, but I believe it is made of linen. It has been hand washed and steamed to get the wrinkles out, but this would likely do better with an ironing. There is a small hole in the left back bum of the skirt, shown in photos also. The dress is fully lined, and there is an additional sheer panel in the bust, which I think can be removed.
This has no size marked, but measures like a modern extra small or 2. Shown on a size small model, who is absolutely stuffed into this like a sausage. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
