Vintage Serving Plate, Syracuse China USA Round Platter, Cafeteria Style Restaurantware
This plate is AMAZING!!! Heavy restaurant ware plate from the 40's, made by Syracuse China USA. The pattern is called Millbrook, and it is an off-white plate with a sage green airbrush design. The rim of the plate is colored green, and there is a green and white flower design painted into the center of the plate. Really beautiful, the style of the design is very 1930s 1940s. There are multiple pieces in this pattern, and these dishes are super sturdy. Restaurant Ware was just that - designed for use in diners, restaurants, cafeteria style eateries, and even military use.
The plate weighs over 2lbs. Its in really gorgeous condition, no cracks or chips, no dulling of shine. There is a TINY flaw in the glaze on the front of the dish, shown in photos.
