Vintage Floral Day Dress, 1980s Secretary Style Dress with Oversized Flower Print, Petite Size 8
Pretty little vintage day dress from the 1980s is black and has an oversized flower print in hot pink and purple with green leaves. The dress has button closures up the back, and two small pockets. The sleeves hit just below the elbow, and the skirt has a little bit of flare to it. The dress has a matching belt also.
The belt has a stiff inner lining that has a "cracked" feel to it - like it was stiff at some point and maybe is made out of thin board? This doesn't affect the look of the belt, as the fabric outer still looks great. The belt holes are all intact as well.
This is made by S. L. Petites and is marked size 8. Shown on a model who is 5'11" tall, and model wears size 6 top and 8 bottoms. The dress fits well on the model except for the sleeves, which are likely meant to hit a little lower on the arm. They are a bit tight on the forearms here, but on a person with average length (or petite) arms, this should not be an issue.
