Vintage Crochet Knit Dress with Rhinestone Embellishment. 1970s Cocktail dress in a dark chocolate brown with prong set rhinestones in a diagonal pattern across the torso and down one sleeve.  This is a really lovely dress, perfect for occasions that require a more formal attire, but when you don’t want to overdo it.  Also, its comfortable and easy to wear.  The edges of the collar and sleeves have little scallops, each dotted with a rhinestone.  There is a zipper up the center back, and the dress comes to approximately knee length. 

This is an open knit dress and is best with a slip worn underneath (shown on a model with no slip, so you can see the extent of the open knit).  

There are no condition issues with this dress at all, it's in gorgeous condition!  There are also no tags, so the brand is unknown, and there is no marked size.  Based on the measurements, this is a modern size large to extra large, or 14-16.  On a size large body, it would have a bit of room; on an XL size, it would be more curve hugging (but not stretched out). For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.  The dress is a knit, so it does have give to it. This is shown on a size small model, and is clipped back in some photos to help show intended fit a bit more - but I also have photos of it unclipped.
