Vintage Red Cotton Wiggle Dress, 1950s Day Dress by Kay Windsor, Size XS-S
Cotton dress with thin striped pattern is an adorable little day dress with a slim, pencil style fit.
Fitted throughout, with a button front bodice and metal side zipper closure. There are two roomy pockets on the front of the skirt, and the sleeves can be worn elbow length, or folded into a cuff,
This dress seems to have had several alterations prior to it coming to me. First, it was definitely dyed, though I don't know what the original color was. Second, it appears to have been shortened for sure, and probably taken in at the back? The internal construction has some red threads, but some glaringly white threads. There are also some black threads at one underarm.
Overall, despite the work she has had done, she still looks beautiful and is a super fun piece! A little more of a "bad girl" kind of 50s look, with the short and tight skirt, but it works.
I would say this is a size XS-S, depending on how much you want it to hug you. Model wears a 6 top and 8 bottom and is 5'11" tall.
