Vintage Cocktail Style Wedding Dress, 1950s Pale Pink Floral Lace and Tulle Dress, Size Small. Gorgeous vintage cocktail, prom, or wedding dress from the late 50s. This is a lovely dress to wear for a garden wedding, or a daytime formal event.
The dress has a high boat neck style front, and dips to a V at the back. The bodice and waist are fitted, and there is satin piping accenting the waist and neckline. There is a small bow at the V back to match as well. The floral lace is backed by nylon or maybe acetate taffeta. Flesh tone undergarments are recommended - this isn't sheer, but darker garments beneath can be noticed.
The dress is a very soft pink, but there has been some yellowing or fading from age. There are some breaks to the lace at the hem, as well as some staining, but its not very noticeable with the full skirt. The dress has a metal zipper up the back and is lined in a taffeta style fabric. There is a layer of ruffled tulle beneath the lace, which gives the skirt its fullness.
