Vintage Blue Pyrex Bowl Primary Colors Set Midcentury Retro Kitchen Ware Decor

This vintage blue Pyrex bowl is #401, the smallest bowl in the iconic Pyrex Primary Colors Set (also known as the Multi-Colored Set or the Yellow Red Green Blue Set) that was produced on white opal ware. It holds 1 to 1 ½ pints, is 5 ½” around at the top, and is 3 ½” high.

There are no chips or cracks, but the bowl shows some wear. It has small scratches in several areas on the exterior—see pics for examples. The interior has minor scratches from usage.

I have other members of the Primary Colors Set available and am selling them separately because I find many collectors are looking to fill in specific colors.

Original advertising listed the capacity of the 401 as 1 pint, but they are often described as holding 1 ½ pints. It could be that the capacity or description of the capacity changed at some point. Either way, I just wanted to point that out in case you see different numbers used.

Marked “401 trademark 17 Pyrex made in USA ovenware.”

It is not recommended that these Pyrex bowls be put in a dishwasher because the finish can dull or wear off.
