Vintage Purple Wool Crepe Blazer with Metallic Gold Braid Swirl, 1940s Suit Jacket Size L-XL
Gorgeous vintage blazer is a very lightweight crepe fabric that is completely covered in metallic gold trim. The trim isn't really braided, but its more of a zig zag folding of the gold, and sewn on all along the braiding. The jacket is cinched smaller at the waist, and has an amazing pointed collar. Exaggerated shoulders (thanks to some lovely shoulder pads!) and a faux double breasted look. The waist is narrow and it flares back out for the smallest of a peplum.
This is in really lovely condition! The gold trim on one of the buttons is a little bit frayed, shown in photos. No tags at all.
I believe the fabric is wool. I was only able to find the TINIEST sliver of a seam to snip some fabric off of to test.
The dolman sleeves end in a sleek cuff that have little snap closures for a more streamlined look.
