Vintage Blazer, 1940s Navy Blue Fitted Jacket with Kelly Green Checks and Covered Button Detail
This vintage blazer is a gorgeous navy blue with tiny bright green squares and solid navy blue trim. The collar is a widespread point, and the left side has a navy trim that extends beyond the edge of the collar and is accented with a covered button . The right side of the collar is trimmed in navy only on the top side. There is navy trim ribbon crossed over and tacked with a button at the lower right side also, mirroring the look of the collar. The jacket closes with three covered buttons, and has an inverted V opening at the bottom.
The 3/4 length sleeves have folded cuffs and the jacket has a narrowed waist, along with darts to give some shape to the bust. There are also light shoulder pads to help provide structure. The jacket is unlined.

I love pieces like this for modern office wear. Definitely more personality than a run-of-the-mill suit would give you, but still professional. Would be stunning with a navy skirt, or even better with a kelly green skirt and navy heels.

This has no tags at all. It is beautiful condition with no stains, holes, or rips. The fabric feels like it may be a cotton twill, or something similar.
