Vintage Black Wool Wasp Waist Coat, 1950s New Look Style Coat with Princess Cut, Size Small
A stunning piece of vintage history. This black wool coat has dolman sleeves, softly sloped shoulders, a fitted waist, and an absolutely massive skirt. There are two pockets, and the coat buttons up the front.
The coat is missing one of the buttons, and it also is missing whatever belt would have originally gone with it. Its in otherwise gorgeous condition though. Fully lined, and the lining is in gorgeous condition as well.
The only tag is the store tag, Saks 34th. Fun side note - Saks 34th was a fashion focused middle market department store, spun off when Saks & Company moved to Fifth Avenue. The location was closed in 1965.
