Vintage Culottes, Black Wool Gaucho Pants, Size XS
Vintage culottes with a high waist, back zip closure, and knee length fit. These pants have no tags on them, so I am estimating the age and fiber content.
These are an extra small size with a high waist and slim fit through the hips, flaring out for the leg, and ending just below the knee. The pants close with a metal zipper up the center back. These pants feel like wool on the outside, but the fabric seems to have a finish on the inside that is sort of like a lining. Based on a burn test, I believe the outside IS wool, and the inside is some kind of synthetic "coating". It feels really soft, and helps prevent the wool from being itchy (though the waistband has wool facing the body).
No condition issues with these pants. These have been hand washed (cold water), air dried, and the wrinkles steamed out.
There are no tags in this at all, so I am not sure if its handmade or the tags are just missing. Measures like an extra small and is shown on a size small model. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
