1950s Black Cocktail Dress, Vintage Little Black Dress, Size Small, Minor Damage
A lovely black taffeta dress with drapey mesh detail at the shoulders and waist. Side metal zipper, shelf bust. Straight skirt with two sashes added to the left hip for volume. I think the dress is nylon, something synthetic; I am not sure about the draped mesh fabric. Very soft, feels almost like fine mesh but doesn’t seem to be sheer. The only issue with the dress is a split in the fabric along a fold line, was probably stored poorly. Split is almost 2” long on right side of skirt, about mid thigh. There are no tags in this.
