Vintage Tent Dress, Black and Pink Floral Cotton Trapeze Dress in Muumuu Swing Style with Double Sided Fabric Tie Belt, Size XS - M.
Beautiful cotton dress from the 1970s or 1980s is the perfect piece for summer lounging. Made by "Connections", this is a very artisan style dress, Super in its flowy floral design, this dress has a matching fabric tie belt that can be worn a variety of ways.
This dress started as black and white, but it had some yellowing to it that I was not able to get out. I dyed it a fuchsia color and I am so happy with the result! The previous owner also either removed or lost the buttons that were at the neckline, and sewed two of the buttonhole loops to the other side, which I have not undone.
This is adorable both tied at the waist, or left loose and swingy. The belt has floral on one side and polka dot on the other, which matches some of the accent fabric on other areas of the dress.
The only tag is the brand, "Connections". This is a little open in the measurement, but is best for up to a size medium based on the shoulders and upper chest. Model is a size small (6) top and medium (8) bottom and measures 36" x 28" X 38". For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
