Vintage Sheath Dress in Batik Print, 1960s Wiggle Dress in Yellow, Red, and Brown, Size Medium
Gorgeous vintage dress seems to be handmade, and expertly so! Fully lined, and with great shape due to the seams. This is fitted in the bodice, hips, and is slim through the skirt. The sleeves are short, the neckline is somewhere between a boat neck and a crew; and the length hits just below the knees. The fabric is yellow with an amazing African wax or batik print done in red, brown, and chartreuse. The top of the bodice also has small and shimmery red beads attached, and there is gold painted accenting throughout the dress.
Dress has a back zip, and a braided waist tie. There are also two pockets! Everything is fully lined (pockets too!) and there are no condition issues.
The red "gems" seem to be glued on (not sewn or set). Between that and the gold, I would recommend hand washing, or machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold water. Air dry, or delicate cycle on low temperature heat. Better safe than sorry!
This has no size marked, but measures like a modern womens size medium. Model is 5'11" tall and wears size small top and size medium bottom. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
