Vintage Barbizon Tafredda Slip, 1950s Full Slip, Hand Dyed Mauve, Size Small.

This is an absolutely beautiful slip that I believe to have been hand dyed (not by me). The color is consistent but the tag is also colored, which is why I believe it was dyed. This nylon slip makes a lovely swishy sound when you move, and the fabric feels slightly cool on the skin. The tag reads "Tafredda", which was a proprietary fabric made by Barbizon, a 50% nylon and 50% polyester blend. The slip has no stretch to it, and is pulled on over the head (though the zipper does allow for ease of dressing). The shoulder straps are adjustable. There are no stains or holes, but at one point someone secured the straps at the back with red thread.
This slip has no marked size, but measures like a modern 6 or small, and is shown on a size small model. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
