Vintage Anchor Hocking Moonstone Cup and Saucer 40s Hobnail Tea Cup and Saucer with Ruffled Edge Opalescent Pressed Glass

VIntage Anchor Hocking Moonstone Cup and Saucer Set, 1940s Clear Hobnail Glass with White Opalescent Detail
This is a really lovely little teacup and saucer by Anchor Hocking. This pattern is called Moonstone, and it's a clear glass in a hobnail pattern, with an opaque white edge on the glass and top row of hobnails. This is a dainty little cup that sits on a small platform foot and has a thicker handle. The saucer has a ruffled edge. The pieces in this pattern were very inexpensive pieces at the time that they were made, so you will see seams in the glass from the mold. The cup has a separation of the seam at the rim I have shown it in photos. It is not sharp, and its very stable - it is not a crack, the seam was just not fully closed during manufacture.
This cup is 2" tall and just short of 4" across the rim. It holds about 6oz of fluid when filled to the very top.

Pieces like this are gorgeous for a mix and match style decor. Cottagecore, shabby, rustic, farmhouse, even beautiful as a piece for a rustic barn wedding. I love this mixed with milk glass pieces, or other depression era glass.
