Adele Simpson, one of America’s most prolific designers, was well known for luxuriating cotton textile by utilizing it in the construction of more formal garments. This picnic skirt, while definitely not an evening garment, is expertly crafted with sturdy cotton, features a darted high waist, a side zip and clasp entry. The hem is hand sewn. Gorgeous piece, not a flaw in sight.
