Mid 1960s-early 1970s Nelly de Grab formal evening wear style skirt. Dramatic maxi skirt has tiny pleats at waist with one large pleat down the middle, giving the illusion of wide leg trousers. Fully lined.
No materials tag but outer layer is possibly a polyester blend Garbardine and has a slight shimmer to it. Lining is a light satin taffeta. Zip closure with hook and eye fasteners.
Waist measures 26" around and has absolutely no stretch whatsoever. Hips measure about 48" around. Skirt is 40" long with a 70" sweep. Listing as a size 26 or 0-2/XS. Please use measurements to ensure proper fit.
ILGWU tag is hidden in the sem of skirt lining and dates this item between 1964-1973.
Skirt has been very well kept and is in beautiful condition. There are some very light discoloration spots (on front and near hem) that are not noticeable. Hem itself is clean and crisp. This is such a beautiful and unique vintage piece. Please contact me prior to purchase with any questions!
