This is a beautifully made, women's vintage-1960s, sleeveless, floor-length evening gown designed by B Altman and Co., Fifth Avenue, New York. The bodice is fitted and the floor-length skirt has a slight flare. The bodice features a wonderful Egyptian-themed embellishment consisting of faux coral cabochons and faux faceted turquoise-like beads placed in a repeat pattern with gold-metallic linear trim. The gown is flat-lined with a contrasting light yellow fabric. The bust is 42 inches. The waist is 32 inches. The hip is 42 inches. The length, as measured from the waistline to the floor, is 41.5 inches. There is a faint smudge on the back of the bodice (see photo). (Purchase does not include display mannequin.)
