Vintage 60s Raffia Straw Tote Handle Bag

Round handle is untwined with a natural raffia straw material to decorate the bag’s handle.

Handle is knitted into the tote bag’s body.

Top of handle bag has a open weave geometric abstract geometric floral
design.

Goes down approximately 3 1/2” of the top.

Then a weave striped horizontal line goes across the bag.

The geometric abstract floral openwork continues down the rest of the bag.

A matching raffia straw like material is underneath for a type of lining.
It is an open weave solid plaid like design.

Back and front of handle bag have the same design.

Condition is good.
Due to the type of the material and age of the bag, there are lose straw thread throughout and can be left alone or cut.

Bag is assemble with some knitting and material and can be seen at times.

Would not use for light grocery shopping.
This was designed for light carrying use and not for heavy items.

I love how natural and neutral the tote bag’s color is.

Goes with almost anything.
