DETAILS: This vintage necktie probably dates to the late 1940s, when ties were still wide, but prints and colors were getting a little more sedate. This tie is a twill/gabardine weave instead of jacquard, with an overall print of small pointy-ended ellipses in peach, white and dark orange against a muted burnt orange background. Are they atomic eyes? Stylized keyholes? Art Deco style flying saucers?

Widest point - 4" (10 cm)
Length - 53. 5" (136 cm)
TAGS: Yankee Cravat Super-Made
