Original decal from the Imperial Roller Rink in Portland OR. This design is older, likely from the late 1930s when the rink first opened. These decals also came in color, but this is a black-and-white version. Not only was the Imperial Rink absolutely gorgeous, lit by fabulous art deco lamps and tricked out with its own pipe organ and live music, at least one Jerry Garcia fan blog suspects Jerry may have performed here in 1966.This would have been pasted onto a skater's carrying case for their skates, or into a scrapbook. Still has adhesive on the back.
