This dress has a lot going on!

This seemingly homemade dress comes in a lightweight, semi-sheer polyester fabric with a vivid large-scale jungle print with birds of paradise, palm fronds, etc. A full length dress, or gown, the openness feels like a cover-up style piece for the beach or pool. At the upper bodice, two faux laced-up (lattice) sections run along the princess seams and finish with self-fabric, skinny little ties, fringed at the ends. The princess seams then split open below the waist, to reveal the paneled sections of dress. The center front features a faux button-up detail with large red buttons sewn in place (there is on snap closure at neckline). Sleeves are full length, but there are no pockets or other design details to note. No labels or makers marks. The snap closure at the neckline is slightly rusted, otherwise the overall condition is excellent to near mint.
