A truly unique piece! If the 60s was a dress, I feel like this would be it! The lovely mustard velveteen is such a fun color! I love how the complimented it with the woven tinsel-like lace material of the top! The garment has a series of snap closures, hooks and eyes, and a zipper up the back and on the front of the belt. The sleeves zip up at the wrist. At the hips, two pieces of tulle have been placed to make a more dramatic silhouette, these could easily be removed if you do not want it to be as hippy (or itchy). Tag says “Junior sophisticates”. Best fits a modern Small. Model is modern size 4/6 and its a bit tight in the waist, but large in the bust for her.

Fair vintage condition - There are a number of smaller issues, when looked at holistically really makes this a “fair” condition piece though it does still present beautifully. Minor overall wear. A few loose threads, especially on the inside. The velveteen skirt has a number of faint small marks and areas of discoloration that would not come out. One spot has a tiny pull as well. The sash has a few missing beads and a tiny spot on it. The black bodice area has a number of small spots where the woven tinsel has loose strings, though this shouldn’t affect wear at all.
