Would Paula Abdul wear this dress? Somehow I can see it. This is a late-80s/early-90s tiered rayon dress by Carriage Court (a Sears brand) with black-and-white floral motif, flouncy tiered skirt, built-in shoulder pads, and wide faux-leather red patent belt to give it a saucy kick of contrast.

In good vintage condition, with some creasing to the belt (pictured). The white modesty panel in the v-neck is held with a safety pin on one side, but you can't see this from the outside of the garment. I believe this white panel was added onto the dress--it appears to have been sewn on after the fact and is easily removable to make this more of a deep-V dress.

Dress is tagged as women's size 12.
