I picture THE ANNETTE being worn by Annette Funicello in "Beach Party." It's such a fun top, never worn and new with tags, made by Gay Gibson. And, don't worry, there's not an ounce of natural fiber in this beauty--her tags heartily declare her "100% Dacron" and impervious to wrinkles, life, possibly nuclear war. Dacron is a really interesting poly for its similarities to hand-woven fabrics and its ability to look almost 3D in texture. This top is no exception--it has a bit of a basketweave quality.

THE ANNETTE nips in at the waist and boasts five cute decorative fabric-covered buttons on the waistband. The skirt-like lower half of the top has a high slit. This could potentially be worn as a minidress with leggings, but would also look fab with period-appropriate cigarette pants in white or matching yellow. Closes with back zip. Fits like an XS-S.
