This is a small to medium piece. The elastic waistband is 28 inches around, unstretched; the hips are about 32-33 inches, also unstretched. Yes, there is some stretch, but within reason ... The stitching of the fringe makes those rows a little less flexible. It's basically a tube, a very fabulous tube with a lot of swish.

Color is true black, lightened in some photos to show detail. The photos of the skirt hanging up do look as if there's a lighter band across the middle--that's just a trick of the light and the difficult of photographing black.
