This skirt was homemade from vintage fabric that is some type of jacquard, maybe either a brocade or damask. The fabric is gorgeous—a hot pink or fuchsia pink with beautiful large rosebuds. The fabric has a sheen to it.

The skirt is an A line style. It has a zipper in the back and is lined.

Length is 20”, waist is 35”, and hips is 41”.

It has a few faint stains on the front—see pics. One is one a “fault” line in the fabric where the fabric might have pulled.

The back darts look like they were redone at some point; you can see the former stitching very faintly. The back seam might need some reinforcement below the zipper.

I would dry clean to be on the safe side.

I’m thinking the fabric is from the 1950s or 1960s.
