Vintage pair of Scarab spoons (demitasse) in gold and silver toned metal featuring an Egyptian Revival design. 4&1/2”. Some age related wear present. This is a design from 1909 by the Smith Silver Co. The Cafe de L’Opera which opened in 1910 in New York City had this pattern for its house flatware. Many companies produced the pattern for decades. The spoons listed here are stamped WMA Rogers Oneida & are likely mid century. Marvelous scarab, Egyptian Revival spoons for sugar or mustard or custard.
